Arr pirates!! There be invisible resources if ye be playing on full zoom out, so ye must be careful to make certain not to lose these. Have a look below the explanation:
See this picture be at maximum zoom out of me Haven, at the bottom, ye seen nothing but the beach and the water and me Castle and market. I added the zoom so ye can see the zoom level as well.
Next ye see I zoom in 2 scrolls of the mouse and still there be nothing interesting. Just the water, the waves and no resources whatsoever.
And now I zoom in 4 bars, almost maximum and still nothing, but a very slight hint of the invisible resource there which could be easily missed by a sleepy eye.
And finally here at maximum zoom in ye see the lumber resource becomes visible and ready for the collection.
Examples are a plenty, here another one, ye see at most top of me Haven just the advisers and the tip of me island, nothing more.
Then zooming in 2 times with the mouse scroll ye start seeing the tip of the lumber.
And zooming in more ye see both the treasure chest as well as the lumber which were completely invisible and hidden behind the advisers.
So, in conclusion, especially if ye drank a whole barrel of Rum, make certain that ye go to maximum level of zoom and carefully check every corner of the Haven to collect all resources!

Trick to go beyond maximum resource capacity
Arr pirates!! I be sharing with ye a trick that allows ye to have more resources than your capacity allows. Normally if your capacity is reached yer Haven will not produce any more of gold or lumber or rum depending which one is full, so it is not a good idea to be there, but there can be many reasons ye keeping high level of resources - maybe adding up to make a big building upgrade.
So if ye reach yer capacity, most often this happens with Rum, then one simple trick ye can use is to put yer Rum for sale either at a 1:2 ratio if ye actually wanna maybe sell it or at any other ratio which means most likely ye will never sell it and then this Rum gets taken out of yer Haven and yer capacity drops. Any time ye need that Rum ye just go and cancel yer offer and all the Rum comes right back to yer Haven and ye don't even have to wait for it.
Here the example how at this time I was keeping more than 10,000 Rum extra using this trick:

All About the Royal Cannon
Arrr pirates!! Here I be making ye big expert on the ROYAL CANNON! Me pirates love our cannon - it's so big and smashing!! hahaha! :)
So, apart from being big and bad the Royal Cannon does not actually give any bonus to attack or defense. Ye figure that?! Darn surprising that is!
But apparently the Royal Cannon be sinking some random imaginary ships passing by, letting our pirates go pick up the scraps, and due to this it be giving us a 5% bonus to our gold and lumber production starting from Level 2! And on top of this ye can upgrade the Royal Cannon up to level 6 and be getting a bonus of 25% to yer gold and lumber production!
Level 2: 5%
Level 3: 10%
Level 4: 15%
Level 5: 20%
Level 6: 25%
Now that be something good, but there be also some bad news with that. It be taking a whole day for just one level of upgrade and if ye get raided then the cannon is smashed and although you can repair it for free ye gotta do again all the upgrades. So for those pirates who are super busy with raiding and getting raid better be hoping for more like 5-10% bonus at most.
